Dear Valued Customers,
ZigNy & Braai Braamfontein is currently aware of a Media post on X circulating on social Media about an operation being conducted on the premises of the establishment today and electricity has been disconnected due to the use of illegal connections.
We would like to inform our customers that this particular post is riddled with factually incorrect information. Zigny & Braai Braamfontein is currently operational and serving its customers.
The affected branch is the one located at 73 De Villiers cnr twist next to the MTN taxi rank commonly addressed as ZigNy MTN. The establishment was equipped with a prepaid electricity meter as part of its rental lease agreement with the landlord of which electricity vouchers were been bought through a banking app for the establishment for its day to day operations since its opening and no illegal connections what so ever was used for its power consumption needs.
Further clarification from the landlord was sought and the feedback given to the establishment was that the matter is being currently addressed as a technical misunderstanding which will be rectified in the coming days.
Zigny & braai MTN will , in the mean time, continue to operate on a generator with limited services as off tomorrow and we appologize in advace for the inconvenience caused to our customers .
