Roast Re:public We roast and sell coffee from our home base in Johannesburg, South Africa. 50% of our profits are use We stand for coffee for all. Education for all.

The Manifesto of the Roast Re:public

United we stand as a people; determined to reject the status quo of mediocre coffee and selfish living. Lifting our cups to the future of a democracy where there is equal access to quality coffee and education for all. The Re:public seeks to propagate a magna carta of “coffee with a conscience.” A revolution, if you will, where the precious commodity of coffee is utilized to facilitate a sustainable value exchange between different communities: exchanging the love of quality coffee for the availability of quality education. The Roast Re:public is leveling out the playing field between the “have’s” and “have nots.” In coffee we trust:

To take quality coffee back to the masses. To create opportunities for the most vulnerable children to have access to quality education
To enable farmers to grow better beans, which relates to higher profits and a better life for their extended families. Trading a cup of coffee for a day at school. Multiple goodness in a cup. Raise your cup to the Re:public.
