Recipe for yummy soft scones 😋🤤

250g margerine
1 cup sugar
6 cups flour
6 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon bicarbonate of soda
3 large eggs
400ml Amasi
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

METHOD:
1. Cream margarine and sugar till nicely combined
2. Add flour, baking powder and bicarb then mix using the palm of your hands
3. Create a well in the middle of the dish, beat in the eggs with vanilla then gradually add the amasi as you knead til your ingredients are combined.
4. Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut as desired. Don't roll dough too thin, at least about a centimetre in thickess. Brush with beaten egg mixed with a bit of vanilla essence.
5.Grease your pan with margarine and bake in a pre-heated oven @180 degrees for about 20 minutes or till they are golden brown.
