Healthy, organic living has become an everyday occurrence for director, Kathleen Arkle’s family of six. Keeping fit and active through various activities, supplemented by the products and foods that go into their bodies, was the brain wave behind SoulJozi.
Having spent time in the organic restaurant and supply industry, Kathleen knew where her passion lay, and her dream was always to manage and own her own store. When the opportunity presented itself, in the form of the store that has been secured in the heart of Maboneng, Kathleen and her husband, Richard, jumped at the chance.
The concept will be towards catering a mostly natural, raw and organic menu that will be attractive to most. To supply local, natural and organic products within the store, for customers to purchase. To furnish the store using only reclaimed and recycled materials, which the customers can purchase. To provide a recycling service for the local people, with a rewards programme in place for this.
