From Our Farm to Your Fork 🍽️

Every week, Raptors Lodge Accommodation is stocked with the freshest seasonal produce, hand-picked at The Squirrel Hole Nursery and delivered straight to the chefs at ZaZu's Kitchen.

From sweet papayas, juicy lemons and granadillas, to free-range eggs, fragrant rosemary, basil, and other fresh herbs and vegetables, every harvest is guided by the seasons and served with care.

Since September 2025, we've been proud to bring farm-fresh flavours to our local community at ZaZu's Kitchen and to guests staying at Raptors Lodge Hoedspruit.

Whether you're joining us for a hearty breakfast, a relaxed lunch, a delicious dinner, or one of our homemade desserts, there's a good chance your meal started just a few kilometres away in our own gardens.

At ZaZu's Kitchen, some of our freshest ingredients don't travel hundreds of kilometres—they simply make the short journey from The Squirrel Hole Nursery to our kitchen.

Our chefs are lucky to work with beautiful, homegrown produce, including:

🍋 Sun-ripened lemons
🌿 Fragrant rosemary from our herb garden

This weeks harvest is sure to inspire some creativity in ZaZu's Kitchen.
