As the Festive Season draws to an end, it is with heavy hearts that we share with you that Stone House Kitchen’s Season draws to an end too.
What a season it has been for all of us!
We have enjoyed almost five and a half years of remarkable support and the love we have felt has been overwhelming.
We have learnt so many lessons while our doors have been open and the most important of these have been the value of true friendship, family and good health. Without TIME these have no value.
It is with this front of mind that we have made the very difficult decision to close our doors on 25th January.
Thank you for the endless love and support you have shown us. We look forward to the next two and a half weeks of sharing memories and making and baking your firm favourites.

We did a very special wedding in September and designed this gorgeous cheesecake layered with local cheeses, caramel shards and toffee apples.

Stone House Kitchen is open for Breakfast and Lunch on a Sunday, with everything from delicious Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict to a Full Traditional Breakfast before 11am.
Our lunch menu is jammed packed with hearty goodness.

This time last week we had no idea what was in store for us as far as the weather was concerned. We were hoping for snow and jeepers did we get it!
It started on Friday evening and continued on Saturday morning creating the most beautiful winter wonderland.
Along with the beauty came damage and no power. The weight of the snow caused trees to lose branches and collapse taking Eskom lines with them.
Saturday was spent doing damage control but we used the snow to our advantage- packing cooler boxes with snow to keep all perishables very cold and food that needed be remain frozen was packed deep into the snow and compacted, allowing us to open over the long weekend and serve locals and snow seekers alike.
