Hi all, thank you so much for your support, yet unfortunately we had to closed the restaurant at the end of January. Joca is still cooking from home so if you would like anything, he can still make it. We are also doing platter and all that was on the menu for take away. Thank you again for your support and we are missing all you wonderful people. 🤣😋😘😀😘

Hello Friends and Valued Clients, we thank you for your support and good times over the past 2 years, regrettably due to family illness we decided to close our restaurant in Hillcrest, but soon you can still get your favourite meals and treats as Take Away, give us a call and you are welcome to collect from Hillcrest. Looking forward to hearing from you again soon.

Delighted that O Tio have signed up to join the Social Meal Project. A proper family restaurant - with a heart!

Along with 80 other restaurants across Durban, they will be encouraging their diners to 'share a meal' with the homeless over the festive season. For more information on how to donate, see our page Social Meal Project or better still 'follow' us. We can keep you up to date with developments and the growing list of participating restaurants; you can also see the meals that we are actually serving each day to the homeless at the Denis Hurley Centre in central Durban and read about the people featured in the profiles.
