Hi everyone đŸ€

Thank you so much for all the kind messages, love and support you’ve shown Ntombie. It means so much to her and to all of us who love and care for her.

Unfortunately, we have another update. Ntombie has received her results, and sadly, we have been told that her cancer is now at Stage 4. 💔

We know this is incredibly difficult news, and while we can’t take away what she is going through, we would love to help carry some of the weight for her during this time.

We’ve set up a Back-a-Buddy for Ntombie, and a huge thank you to @⁚Marilize Nadauld⁩ for helping get this up and running. đŸ€

Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will go directly to Ntombie and will help support her through the treatment and everything that comes with this difficult journey.

Hi everyone,

You might’ve seen us in the cafe already, but for those that haven’t we are Stefan & Jess- Southbroom locals & the proud new custodians of your favourite cafe in southbroom!

First of all we would like to thank Keith and Marilize for what they have built over the past 4 years. We’ve grown to love the cafe and, to be honest, we were mortified when we heard they were selling.

And so, we did what was necessary to protect our favourite local- we bought it!

Collectively, we’ve got a decade’s worth of experience in service and it’s been a dream of ours to own a place like Hippi Fish.

We’re looking forward to ‘carrying the baton forward’, as Keith likes to say and, yes, the menu and the great staff you’ve come to love are all staying!

Come in for a coffee or a spicy marg and say hi!
We can’t wait to meet everyone.

Dear Hippi Fish Café family,

We wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your incredible support, loyalty, and shared memories over the years. You’ve been at the heart of everything we’ve built, and we’re deeply grateful.

We’re currently in the process of handing over the business to new ownership, who will continue the journey from here. While this marks a new chapter, the spirit of Hippi Fish CafĂ© lives on because of you.

Thank you for being part of our story — it’s meant more than we can put into words.

(New owner reveal will be posted soon and a handover party will be announced in the near future)
