La Pentola meaning "The pot” is a cultural melting pot of flavors, people, music and taste. The style of cuisine is Fusion based on classic culinary principles, incorporating only the best local produce and regional ingredients to create a unique style of cuisine which carries our rich South African heritage. The menus offer a large selection of dishes to cater for everyone's needs including vegetarians, vegans, halal guests & diabetics. The bill of fare offers meat, seafood, vegetarian, pasta and game for the more adventurous diner and tourists. The head chef is always available on site should any guest have specific dietary requirements not already met by our menu selection. The founding members Janet & Shane Sauvage started out in the restaurant business over two decades ago and have received international and local recognition for their concept in the form of awards & critical acclaim. La Pentola established on the inception of the new South Africa embraces the principles of gender equality, self empowerment and upliftment through education. We have a strict policy of promoting from within the company. Through this we manage to further enable our employees to grow within the organisation both in knowledge and stature. La Pentolas goal is to grow organically, maintaining its international reputation for offering a high quality, value for money dining experience which we as South Africans are proud to represent.
