Prepare your palate for a journey through the Helderberg region. We’ll be pouring a curated selection of Ken’s award-winning range:
Sparklehorse Cap Classique: A traditional method sparkling wine aged on lees for 18 months, featuring a delicate mousse, creamy texture, and bright pear/apple aromas.
Petit Chenin: The iconic, rich, and honeyed Chenin Blanc that put Ken Forrester on the world map.
Sauvignon Blanc Reserve: A crisp wine with tangy notes, green fig, and peach, showing a strong mineral character from coastal vineyards.
Old Vine Reserve Chenin: A flagship, full-bodied white with intense melon, spicy baked apple, and honeyed notes balanced by creamy lees texture and lingering minerality, that put Ken Forrester on the world map.
Petit Pinotage: A fruit-driven, accessible red wine with vibrant aromas of spicy mulberries, plums, and cherries, with subtle smoky nuances.
The Renegade: A bold but elegant Stellenbosch Rhône-style blend (typically Shiraz, Grenache, and Mourvèdre) balancing Old World rusticity with New World fruit. It features notes of spicy black pepper, red berries, and savory olive, with soft tannins and 18 months of oak aging. It is a versatile, medium-bodied red.
Petit Cabernet Sauvignon: A youthful, unwooded, and fruit-forward South African red from Stellenbosch, known for its soft and approachable character. It features vibrant aromas and flavors of ripe mulberries, plums, and blackcurrant, complemented by subtle spicy undertones and a smooth finish.
