Blanco – 20 May 2026

Yesterday, Blanco got hit hard. A sudden cloud break brought hail, heavy rains and flooding that damaged homes, businesses, and streets across our little town.

Pollocks Pizza Cafe wasn’t spared – water came in while our customers were still enjoying their meals, drinks and good conversation.

But this is Blanco. This morning at sunrise, our team was already sweeping, mopping, and getting the place ready. The pizza ovens are on, and our doors are open for anyone who needs a warm seat, a hot slice, and a moment to catch their breath after an eventful day.

Our hearts go out to everyone in Blanco dealing with damage and cleanup. We’re a strong community, and we’ll get through this together ❤️
