Enjoy the best coffee in the Western Cape under the world's largest privately owned Southern right whale skeleton, Suzie!! Offering wonderful hospitality, the Great White House focuses on the comfort of its guests, both when they're out at sea or back at the lodge. Guests can enjoy breakfast and lunch in the area's top restaurant, which specializes in seafood (permitted abalone available) but also caters for vegetarians/vegans as well as meat lovers. The Great White House also boasts the fully licensed Southern Right Bar, which is there for the convenience of its guests. We host Marine Dynamics shark tours and Dyer Island Cruises whale watching guests as part of their experience. We have chalets on site and a curio/gift shop.

Dinsdag 22 September 2026 het die Gansbaai Wynproegilde bymekaargekom vir ’n aand van De Krans wyne, aangebied deur wynmaker Christoff de Wet.

Chef Chris se spyskaart is deur ons Suid-Afrikaanse erfenis geïnspireer met geregte waarin waterblommetjies, seeslaai, springbok en nog meer plaaslike geure die hoofrol gespeel het.

’n Heerlike kombinasie van goeie wyn, kos en die geure van ons veld, ons land en ons see.

Let wel: Hierdie aand is deur die Gansbaai Wynproegilde gereël. The Great White House het die spyskaart voorberei en die aand aangebied.
