In June, the HelpJag Project received an incredible donation of 2 tons of game meat from MBT Petroleum.

With the support of Solidarity Helping Hand Limpopo Region, this generous donation was distributed to organisations in need across Limpopo as part of their food relief initiative.

This meat represents far more than a meal on the table - it is a symbol of hope, compassion, and a community that cares for its most vulnerable.

A heartfelt thank you to Bastiaan Huits and the Limpopo Wildsvleis team for processing the meat, and to FF-Site Trade for serving as a distribution point and helping us reach communities across the province.

To MBT Petroleum, thank you for making a meaningful difference through the HelpJag Project. We are grateful for your generosity, your compassion, and your commitment to making a lasting impact.

Together, we are filling empty plates and restoring hope.

In Junie het die HelpJag-projek 'n ongelooflike skenking van 2 ton wildsvleis van MBT Petroleum ontvang.

Met die ondersteuning van Solidariteit Helpende Hand Limpopo-streek is hierdie ruim skenking versprei na behoeftige instansies regoor Limpopo as deel van voedselhulp.

Hierdie vleis is soveel meer as net 'n bord kos – dit is 'n simbool van hoop, omgee en 'n gemeenskap wat na sy mees kwesbare mense omsien.

'n Hartlike dankie aan Bastiaan Huits en die span van Limpopo Wildsvleis vir die verwerking van die vleis, en aan FF-Site Trade wat as verspreidingspunt opgetree en gehelp het om die vleis regoor Limpopo te versprei.

Aan MBT Petroleum – baie dankie vir die verskil wat julle deur die HelpJag-projek gemaak het. Ons waardeer julle ruimhartigheid en julle passie om 'n blywende verskil in mense se lewens te maak.

Raai wat? 🤗
Ons was geëerd om 'n spesiale kuier te kry en natuurlik 'n oomblik om te reflekteer oor hoe gelukkig ons is!
(As jy ons volg, weet jy natuurlik hoe opgewonde ons is vir die jaar se Loslitdag!)

APD Limpopo het hierdie ongelooflike kuiergaste van National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD) verwelkom, insluitende die Direkteur Therina Wentzel gesamentlik met Andrew Hofmeyr.

Die kuier het nog meer betekenisvol geraak soos hulle tyd ook spandeer het saam met ons geliefde Ere-President, Tannie Marina van Eeden, wat met visie, determinasie, en liefde gehelp het om APD Limpopo 'n realiteit te maak.

Dit het begin met 'n moeder se begeerte om geleenthede te skep vir haar dogter, Karin, 'n vrou met 'n intellektuele gestremdheid. Dit het gegroei tot 'n organisasie wat tallose lewens aangeraak het en steeds waardigheid, betrokkenheid en geleenthede vir persone met gestremdhede bevorder. Almal word ingesluit!

Dankie aan Therina en Andrew vir hul besoek aan APD Limpopo en vir die voortgesette werk van NCPD om gestremdheidsregte regoor Suid-Afrika te bevorder.

Saam bou ons voort aan 'n meer insluitende toekoms vir almal.

We were honoured to have a special visit AND a moment to reflect! 🪘
(If you have been following us you know how excited we are for this year's casual day!)

APD Limpopo welcomed these amazing visitors from the National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD), including Director Therina Wentzel and Andrew Hofmeyr.

The visit became even more meaningful as they spent time with our beloved Honorary President, Tannie Marina van Eeden, whose vision, determination, and love helped make APD Limpopo a reality.

What started as one mother's desire to create opportunities for her daughter, Karin, a woman with a intellectual disability, grew into an organisation that has touched countless lives and continues to promote dignity, inclusion, and opportunity for persons with disabilities.

Thank you to Therina and Andrew for visiting APD Limpopo and for the ongoing work of NCPD in advancing disability rights across South Africa.

Together, we continue building a more inclusive future for all.
