There are some moments in nature that leave you a little lost for words.

Saturday was one of those WOW moments 😍

Two orca whales were spotted off Kidd’s Beach, and we were incredibly lucky to be there to witness it. Just seven kilometres from the resort, moving through our waters.

Not on a screen, not in a documentary, right here, on our doorstep, completely free, powerful and entirely at home in the ocean.

You never really know when you are going to witness something that you will remember for the rest of your life.

Today, we did.

It’s time to celebrate another successful year with your team, colleagues, friends or family at Gulu Private Resort.

Our Braai Lapa Year-End Special offers:

R99 per person includes 4 hours’ venue hire
Thereafter R550 per hour until 6pm
From 6pm–midnight: R1,500 per hour
Venue closes promptly at 00:00

Fully self-catering: Bring your own food, drinks and ice. A fridge is provided for your convenience.

Prefer not to cater yourself? An optional braai menu is available for guests who would like to add food to their booking.

Maximum capacity: 60 guests
🌶 Limited dates available — early booking is recommended.
