Some photos from another successful Sodurba Welcoming Of The Whales Festival! 😊🐳 (27 June 2026). Thank you to Amanda, Siwe, Sodurba & Siwe Group, and to everyone involved in this event. I know a huge amount of effort went into organising it, and it was such a fun day! A huge thank you to my set up crew & assistants 😜, the Heidi's Cafe gang for keeping the cafe running on the day, to all my customers for your support (at both our little stall & the cafe!), and to everyone who made it down to support the festival! 🧁☕️😊🐳🩵🌴 We’re already excited for next year! 😎

The Welcoming Of The Whales Festival will be happening at Anstey’s Beach this Saturday, 27th.
Bring all your favourite humans down to see all the food, craft & educational stalls, & hopefully spot some whales! 🤩
We will also have a little stall at the market selling our baked treats, & Heidi's Cafe will be open as usual

For those of you coming down to the festival, there will be a free park & ride shuttle from The Bluff Eco Park, and the normal parking along Ansteys / Brighton Beach 😊

Please support this campaign by donating if you can, or even just sharing the post. GROBBIES BUTCHERY has been around for my entire life & is such an institution on The Bluff. This family business needs help from the community that it has been serving for 33 years, and it would be devastating for them to have to close their doors. This is the home of the Komterug Wors in our Bluff Breakfast that’s been on our cafe menu since the beginning 😭

Hello all you lovely humans! We are officially closed for the holidays! Thank you for another great year of support, good vibes, great humans, banter, and everything in between! Thank you for your understanding as we close during the holidays to give our amazing staff some well deserved time off with their families, and also for us to get some maintenance done! 😊 We will reopen on Friday, 16th Jan at 7am! 🌴☀️😊
