Sunday tastes a little sweeter when Durban dresses in blue. 💙🥂

Euphoric Sundaze returns with good music, good company, and just enough mischief to make Monday feel very far away.

Heritage tastes better over flame…
Braai first. Waai later. 🔥🇿🇦

Once upon a flame, before David Manal aka Ihsan Abdallah became the name,
there was a man, a kitchen… and a rather dangerous little game.

Plaka lit the spark.
Barrio gave it sound.

Café La Plage brought fire and theatre to Umhlanga town.

Then came Zuma ~
charcoal, smoke and flambé became part of the name.

But some stories don’t end.
They simply change address.
The knives were sharpened,
the flames burned blue,
and the compass pointed somewhere new…

Durban is cold, wet and terribly dramatic. 🌧️

Azul responded appropriately: creamy basil pesto chicken flambé spaghetti by David Manal aka Ihsan Abdallah 🔥🍝

Come hide from the weather.
We won’t tell it where you are. 💋

There’s smoke on Florida Road… and this time, it’s intentional. 🔥

Tomorrow, we combine Braai Day with Martell - platters, hubbly, sizzling meat, wings, icy beers & ciders, Código margaritas, Rosa & Reposado to create amazing specials for you to have a perfectly innocent Sunday afternoon. 😉

Which is usually how the interesting ones begin. 💋
