Pringles Pub & Restaurant

Pringle's Pub & Restaurant was founded in the 70's by the Pringle family and back then it was known as Pringle Electrical. Pringle Electrical was also the company who introduced television to the small town of De Aar. In the mid 80's Pringle Electrical was converted to Tim's Restaurant, Cafe & Video Shop. On October, 27th 1995 Pringle's Pub & Grill opened its doors to the public, and a year later

in 1996 the Cafe was minimized and the Restaurant was added. In the same year (1996) Pringle's Pub installed the first Castle Draught Tap and until today, it is the only Pub that has this Draught type available. After the passing of Johnny Pringle in 1999, his wife, Toni Pringle took over. In 2001 Martin Barnard bought shares and since then it was these two owners who managed Pringle's Pub & Restaurant. In 2012, Pringle's Pub took ownership of Upstairs Restaurant and Pringle's changed to Pringle's Pub & Restaurant cc. In 2013 the Restaurant was renovated and the cafe was closed down. In the same year the Braai Area was added. In 2014 a jukebox and pool table was added to the braai area to give more entertainment to the public. In mid-2016 Pringle's made the decision to open its doors on Sundays as well. Pringle's Pub Consists of a Smoking Area (Pub & Bar) Non Smoking area (Restaurant) and an Open Smoking Area (Braai Area). On August 31st, 2017 Toni Pringle retired and Martin Barnard took full ownership.
