The familiar faces who remember your coffee order, greet you with a smile, have a little chat about your day and somehow make an ordinary Tuesday feel a whole lot better.

Some places just have a way of making you feel like you belong.

You know those spots where you walk in for a quick coffee, bump into someone you know, end up ordering breakfast and suddenly your whole morning looks a little different?

This December, we’re turning a morning at Upside Down into something a little more colourful.

Grab your girls, order your favourite coffee, settle in around the table and paint your very own sun hat — completely your style, completely one of a kind, and ready for every summer plan ahead.

No painting skills required. Just come ready to have fun, get creative and leave with something you’ll actually want to wear all summer.
