Today, 25 May, we celebrate Africa Day.

This is a day that honours the beauty, strength, resilience, diversity, and spirit of our continent. 🌍✨

Africa is more than a place; it is culture, heritage, innovation, unity, rhythm, flavour, and stories passed down through generations. Today we celebrate the people, the traditions, the creativity, and the future of Africa.

May we continue to uplift one another, embrace our diversity, and proudly showcase the brilliance of Africa to the world.

Today, 21 May, is World Day for Cultural Diversity.

At the Prue Leith Culinary Institute, we celebrate the cultures, traditions, and people that shape the world of food and hospitality.

From the rich heritage of African cuisine, to the timeless elegance of Italian cooking, the artistry of Asian flavours, the sophistication of French gastronomy, and culinary traditions from across the globe, every culture brings its own story, history, and identity to the table.

Food is far more than what we eat. It is memory, connection, celebration, and understanding. It has the power to bring people together across countries, languages, and generations.

In our kitchens, diversity inspires creativity every day. It encourages us to learn from one another, honour traditions, and embrace new perspectives through the universal language of food.

Today, we celebrate the beauty of cultural diversity and the extraordinary way food unites us all.
