In a world where everything is instant, mass produced, AI driven and increasingly motivated by instant gratification, there is something deeply meaningful to me about slowing down.
About giving something the time it needs to be conceptualised, made, created, produced, tasted and refined.
It feels like a privilege, both for us as a team and personally for me.
I love cooking from an embodied place. I don’t want to be floating somewhere outside of myself, mind elsewhere, replicating the same recipe hundreds of times.
I love creating something specific, for a specific event, a specific celebration, a specific group of people.
To be present in the process. To taste it, adjust it, feel it and care for it.
To put intention and a little bit of my soul into what we create for our clients.
That is the kind of kitchen I want to keep building.
And that, to me, is what a woman led business can mean. Honouring my feminine. Honouring the pace at which I am able to create. And building something that allows me to be fully present in the process.
