Safari Vinegar SAFARI® Vinegar has been a trusted helper and staple in South African homes for decades.

All our vinegars are locally produced from natural ingredients using the latest submerged fermentation technology. Only the freshest and juiciest grapes and apples are selected to go into our products. SA’s world-renowned Cape winelands are where we source grapes for our wine and grape vinegars. The finest locally grown apples are sourced from the Western Cape’s Elgin area for our apple cider vinegar. All our vinegars are Kosher and Halaal, and are produced for a variety of tastes, applications and uses. Our vinegars are available in supermarkets across South Africa in pack sizes from 250ml to 2L in PET and glass packaging. We supply the catering and home industry sectors in 5L and 25L drums and our vinegars are also offered in bulk tanker loads from 5 000L to 30 000L, in 1 000L flow bins and in 220L drums.

TIRED OF THAT SAME OLD POTATO SALAD? TRY OUR POTATOES WITH PERSONALITY!

1/4 cup Safari Red W**e Vinegar or Safari Brown Grape Vinegar
1/2 cup high-quality extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1.4kg pounds baby potatoes, washed
6 Green onions, chopped
1/2 cup fresh curly parsley, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh dill, finely chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste

1 Boil the potatoes skin on in salted water in until cooked.
2 Drain well, allow to cool slightly and cut into halves or quarters
3 Whisk together the Safari Vinegar and Dijon mustard. Slowly add olive oil and whisk until smooth and emulsified.
4 Add the warm potatoes to a large bowl, pour over the vinaigrette and toss gently so they absorb the flavours (warm potatoes absorb the vinaigrette.
5 Fold in the scallions, parsley and dill. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve warm, at room temperature or chilled.
Serves 6-8. 🥔🥩🤤

The marinade of all marinades🤩☀️

WARNING: Once you try this home made recipe, you probably will never buy a ready made one ever again.

1/3 cup olive oil
3 tbsp Safari Brown Safari Grape Vinegar
2 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped parsley
1 - 2 tsp finely chopped green or red chillies
1 tsp dried oregano
2 crushed garlic cloves

Combine all the ingredients in a glass bowl and whisk together. Marinade your meat in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
