This week’s specials have landed at Fraîche Ayres — and they’re looking deliciously good.

Our Burger of the Week is the rich, messy, fully-loaded Truffle Mushroom Burger: beef burger, truffle-infused mushroom sauce, Swiss cheese and caramelized onion — served with chips and salad for R169.

Also on the specials board:

Chicken & Grilled Nectarine Salad — grilled chicken, caramelized nectarines, mixed leaves, feta, toasted seeds, pickled onions and house dressing.

Mussels Marinière — fresh mussels in a creamy white wine, garlic and herb sauce, served with toasted sourdough.

Prawn Linguine — juicy prawns, cherry tomatoes, garlic, white wine, chilli and fresh herbs, finished with lemon and Parmesan.

Cape Town may be wet this weekend, but we’ll be warm, cosy and serving a line-up of hearty favourites:

*Weekend Roast:*-- Crispy pork belly with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and gravy.

Butter Chicken/ Prawn Curry — rich, creamy and full of flavour, served with sambals, basmati rice and
Lamb Ragu Pasta — slow-cooked lamb Ragu on Penne pasta crème fraîche and fresh basil.
Steak & Chips — a classic, 350g Sirloin cooked just the way you like it. served with mustard or mushroom sauce
