In 2014, once I personally made the transition from Vegetarianism to Veganism, I quickly became aware of the gap in the market catering for ethical eaters - restaurants, take-aways and deli’s in particular. I also noticed how limited people’s general awareness was of plant-based nutrition. Vegan / vegetarian convenience foods are scarce, as are the dining out options in general. It is our intention to make it easier for you to make healthier, ethical eating choices, whether you do it yourself or allow us to do it for you. In light of this, KarmaVore and VeguCater were born:
KarmaVore aims to bring plant based meals ready made to restaurants, deli’s and individuals. We offer an extensive, seasonal menu that you can order from and have your order delivered or collected. VeguCater Ethical Cooking Workshops are designed to inspire and offer a fresh holistic approach to people wanting to make karma-free eating choices. We offer ready-made vegetarian & vegan meals, from our kitchen to your freezer! Our meals are made using only the best ingredients: coconut oil, filtered water, sea salt etc…..NO JUNK! Healthy, nutritious, delicious and convenient: order from our menu online and have healthy and convenient meals on hand for those days when cooking just isn’t an option. Classes are 4 hours long, you will learn 3 new recipes (of your choosing) and eat a 3-course meal. We will provide notes with the recipes,
documentaries, a list of websites for more recipes and information, and a list of shopping ingredients and where the best places are to get them. We cater: we will design a menu based on your budget and cater any party or event.
