Attack of the Gingers has one more set to play.

On 30 September from 18:00, DJ Vee_knowsw**e from Morvino makes his Vinyl Night debut at Culture Newlands, taking us on a w**e and sound journey with new hits, a few classics and five bottles worth getting acquainted with.

On the playlist:
Paul René Brut Rosé, B Vintners Haarlem to Hope, La Brune The Valley Pinot Noir, Ataraxia Marroquin and Wolf & Woman Pinotage.

New ginger, fresh pours and a very good reason to spend Wednesday at Culture.

If you’re new here, hello from us 🍷

We opened Culture Newlands because we wanted to bring a little bit of the Culture we love to the Southern Suburbs: brilliant w**e, good food, warm hospitality and the kind of place where you pop in for one glass and somehow stay a few hours longer.

A couple of months in, it’s been pretty special for us to see the space fill with familiar faces, new neighbours, long lunches, spontaneous bottles and plenty of very good evenings.

And we’re only getting started.

Here’s to everything still to come at Culture Newlands.

A ginger many Culture locals have come to know and love is back at Culture Newlands, with David Nel from Steelew**es dropping his Spring playlist of the season on 16 September from 18:00.

This little w**e mixtape features Blackwater Lazy Lucy Rosé 2025, Momento White Blend 2024, Swerwer Chenin 2024, Crystallum Peter Max 2024 and Winshaw Charles 2022, before finishing with a glass of red or white selected by your host.

Good w**e, good records and a playlist so nice, we’re playing it twice.
