Established in 1993 by Italian brother and sister duo Liana and Luigi, IceDream has been serving its customers delicious ice cream and sorbets for almost two decades. Made with only the freshest ingredients and without preservatives or added fats. Enjoy flavours like hazelnut, coffee, ginger, mango, lemon and strawberry as well as old classics like fantastic vanilla made with vanilla pods from Zanibar.

Our Italian family run gelateria is officially OPEN for the season! This year marks our 32nd summer of scooping handmade gelato.

We’re also thrilled to announce the birth of our baby girl, Liana Valentina, named after her Nonna, who started Ice Dream back in 1993.

Liana’s son, Fabrizio, known to the Hout Bay community as “the ice cream man” has been crafting the gelato for over 20 years now. Same family, same recipe, same shop.

The oldest authentic Italian gelateria in Cape Town, still here because of you.

La nostra gelateria italiana a conduzione familiare è ufficialmente APERTA per la stagione! Quest’anno festeggiamo la nostra 32ª estate di gelato artigianale fatto a mano.

Siamo anche super felici di annunciare la nascita della nostra bimba, Liana Valentina, chiamata così in onore della sua Nonna, che ha aperto Ice Dream nel 1993.

Il figlio di Liana, Fabrizio, conosciuto a Hout Bay come “il maestro del gelato”, prepara il nostro gelato da più di 20 anni. Stessa famiglia, stessa ricetta, stesso negozio.

La gelateria italiana più autentica e storica di Città del Capo, ancora qui grazie a voi.

Buongiorno e buon lunedì alle persone che si accettano così come sono, uniche e speciali. Che sorridono alla vita e si mostrano agli altri come sono realmente, sempre con sincerità e correttezza. Senza mai nascondere le proprie fragilità e difetti.
Buongiorno a tutte le persone, ed in particolare a quelle che si rimboccano le maniche per trovare la soluzione ai problemi, facendo ogni giorno tanti piccoli e preziosi gesti che migliorano il loro mondo e se stessi. Ed hanno fondate speranze che il mondo possa cambiare in meglio.
Buongiorno alle persone sensibili ed ottimiste, che anche nei giorni nuvolosi sanno vedere il cielo azzurro ed il sole e sanno regalare un pezzetto del loro cielo e del loro sole agli altri.
Buongiorno alle persone che non si fermano alle apparenze e sanno vedere oltre. Oltre i confini, i muri, le porte chiuse, l’indifferenza, i falsi sorrisi che sono come scudi.
