Upon arrival, guests can enjoy oysters shucked fresh, drizzled lightly with a dash of lemon and a whisper of Tabasco. 🦪

Elegant trays served with seared tuna in poppyseed cornets, courgette fritters crowned with smoked trout, and panko prawns with a dip too divine to describe. Crayfish tails sizzling over the perfect braai — their buttery sabayon glaze filling the air with a delicious scent.

And because no feast is complete without a touch of indulgence, we ended on sweet notes — little glasses of tiramisu, crème brûlée spoons, and berry cheesecake shots that made hearts (and spoons) happy. 🍓✨

A beautifully early start for the Ambrosia Catering team this morning. ✨

We prepared and delivered 230 individually packed lunch boxes for Peace Boat Japan Grace, ready for cruise ship guests setting off on a Cape Peninsula tour. A lovely Cape Town welcome for travellers discovering our beautiful peninsula.

Each box menu was filled with a generous little collection of favourites for the journey:

This week, we had the wonderful pleasure of catering for Paterson and Cooke Consulting Engineers, preparing a beautiful drop-off selection of tea-time treats and dessert platters for 50 guests.

For the menu, we wanted to create a generous spread of familiar favourites with an elegant Ambrosia touch. We prepared delicate mini lemon cheesecakes finished with fresh lemon zest, comforting apple crumbles, light lemon meringue pies, chocolate-topped profiteroles, colourful fresh fruit tartlets and traditional milk tartlets.

For something wonderfully indulgent, there were decadent chocolate brownie squares alongside red velvet and cream cheese marbled brownies, while our fresh fruit skewers brought a bright, refreshing finish to the table.

Freshly prepared, generously presented and made with care — the Ambrosia way. ✨

On Saturday, Ambrosia Catering prepared a beautiful selection of drop-off platters for a 70th birthday celebration in Rondebosch. ✨

The spread featured vibrant vegetarian bites, Camembert with green fig preserve, mini beef Wellington with garlic aioli, smoked chicken crostini, tender chicken schnitzel, herbed mushroom-filled chicken and tandoori skewers with tzatziki.

Colourful bruschetta topped with whipped feta, mushrooms, roasted aubergine, sweet peppers and balsamic tomatoes added the finishing touch.

Beautiful food for memorable celebrations and a perfect feast for 70 wonderful years. 🥂

This past Saturday, Ambrosia Catering had the pleasure of preparing a generous drop-off platter spread for a 21st birthday celebration in Bergvliet for 40 guests. ✨

The menu was filled with beautifully prepared favourites — tender chicken schnitzel, chicken breast stuffed with herbed mushrooms, tandoori chicken skewers with tzatziki, colourful vegetarian bruschetta, soft bao buns with Korean sesame chicken and teriyaki beef, sticky Asian chicken wings, mini beef & Guinness pies and curried chicken & apricot skewers.

For dessert, guests enjoyed delicate mini lemon meringue pies and chocolate profiteroles.

The perfect way to celebrate a 21st birthday with family and friends. 🥂

We bring an elegant sense of occasion to every luncheon, with generous seasonal menus, refined presentation, and delicious, freshly prepared food that invites guests to linger a little longer, savour the occasion and enjoy a splendid time together.

Picture a delicious menu of tender pan-fried beef fillet with green peppercorn sauce and mushrooms, chicken breast filled with wild mushrooms and finished with a fragrant tarragon jus, served alongside glazed baby carrots, Tenderstem broccoli and golden roast potatoes. Add a vibrant summer salad of avocado, feta, olives, roasted seeds, tomato, cucumber and red pepper, dressed with a bright lemon vinaigrette, and the table comes beautifully to life.

An elegant luncheon, beautifully served 🇬🇧✨

Today, Ambrosia Catering had the pleasure of catering a private British Consulate General Luncheon Buffet for 15 distinguished guests.

The menu brought together classic flavours with a refined touch — pan-fried beef fillet served with green peppercorn sauce and brown mushrooms, alongside chicken breast filled with wild mushrooms and finished with a tarragon-scented jus.

To accompany the mains, guests enjoyed glazed baby carrots, Tenderstem broccoli and golden roast potatoes, together with a fresh summer salad of avocado, feta, olives, roasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds, tomato, cucumber and red pepper, dressed with a bright lemon vinaigrette.

And for a suitably indulgent finale: individual Cape Malva pudding rounds, crowned with caramelised orange rind and served on silky vanilla custard. 🍊✨

A beautifully considered luncheon where generous flavour, elegant presentation and warm hospitality came together around the table.
