Very sad indeed.stay safe you wonderful person.

Today we honour someone who has been a guiding force in conservation for many years — Flora Cameron (with some cake and coffee🍰☕).

Flora is known and loved by so many in the Barrydale region. Her dedication to protecting and restoring this landscape stretches across decades, and her passion has inspired countless others to care for the natural world around them.

From sharing her knowledge to supporting our work in more ways than we can count over the past few years, Flora has been a true partner to the Grootvadersbosch Conservancy.

Unfortunately, Flora is now moving from the Barrydale region to a more relaxed area (where we hear they even have water Pilates!). But this is not a goodbye, only a farewell.

Baie dankie Flora, we are deeply grateful for your friendship, your wisdom, and your heart. 💚

The Pumpkin's cakes are voted no 1 .by Ronnie from the famous Ronnies S*x Shop.
His Favorite Cake is the Carrot and Chocolate Cake for R59 and there is the Lemon meringue Cake for only R49 . Come see for yourself if you agree with Ronnie :)

If you are just passing through and want a quick meal,
How about a quick Burger on a bun or roosterkoek with Chips or Salad and a cool drink for around R140 depending on your fillings.
We have Sandwiches Plain or Toasted with fries and lots of possible fillings for between R120 -R130
you can also have it on a Roosterkoek.
(A traditional South African bread that's cooked over a fire )
