Last post from Manus Neethling and Janine VdRiet Neethling: Wednesday 30 September, Manus and I said goodbye (not farewell) to Dung Beetle Pub, our great almost 10-year adventure.
Our clients have become friends, some have become family. Never a dull moment, through all the ups and downs!
We are extremely happy and sad. Mixed emotions. Hospitality ain't for the faint hearted đŸ˜‹. Long hours, smile and wave, but it was an absolute feast at the end of the day.
We met amazing people, connections and friends for life!
I will have to write a book about the Dung Days and Barrydale!
No, we are still in Barrydale for a while, weighing all options, where to next, what to do, we believe we will be guided by God's hands and favour, in the right direction.
We sold the business to spectacular people, with true community spirits, and we are sure you will welcome and support them like you did us.
Thank you for all your love, care and support throughout the years.

Contact Phil Thurston for all your accommodation needs, functions and parties.
