It is with great sadness that we announce the closure of Sound Cafe / Sound Lounge with immediate effect. With our lease expiring at the end of February,and no option to renew, we find ourselves without a home ☹️☹️☹️

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the people that bought life into our humble adventure. DjGivit_Sa thank you for the hard work you put into turning Sound Cafe into Sound Lounge - the place exploded with love. To our residents Sash Epic - Sashin Welmann, DjThandwa Skhakhane, and Andile - and even back to Sakhy NachoSoul Thussy - thank you for your persistent hard work in marketing Sound Lounge. Sinqobile Christobel Ndlovu always behind the scenes - but never far from the action. Thank you!! Erin Dickson running our social media campaigns - what a brilliant job!! We loved your work!

To our staff that stood with us during the hard times, and then went into 7th gear when we got hectic - and this is the hardest to write : thank you, ngiyabonga 🙏Your total dedication to our cause is absolutely humbling. We pray that the future has great things in store for each and every one of you.

We have had so much fun over the last 3 years, from the live music, Jazz, kids concerts, birthday parties,ladies nights, and business sessions. Thank you to those that supported us!!! We will miss you the most!
