Looking for a home for these two lovely boys! They are Sultan x Shetland, so they have crests, feathered feet, and carry the blue-egg gene. Amazing personalities, they get along great and we'd like them to go together. They would do great with a layer or project flock, give you pretty chicks and increase the chance for blue eggs!

For weeks, my sweet girl was incredibly broody. Since we don't have a rooster, none of our eggs were fertile, but she absolutely refused to give up no matter what we tried! She was just so determined to be a momma. 🥰 I finally decided to help her out, contacted some amazing local farmers, and brought home some fertilized eggs for her to sit on. Fast forward almost exactly three weeks, and last night her biggest dreams finally came true! ✨ She is being so protective and won't let me get too close yet, so I wasn't sure how many hatched at first. But I am so incredibly proud to announce she is officially a mama! 🐣

Well, I think we have a bit of a situation here! 🤦‍♂️🐓 This little madam has been working hard to hoard all of these eggs in a little over a week. I originally thought she’d just be content sitting on her own few, but her two coop buddies have been laying in her spot too, and she is taking them ALL in like the ultimate overachiever. 🥚✨ Who else has a hen that steals everyone else's eggs?

Oh boy! We were just given a half a dozen Muskovy’s, which seemed very exciting. We culled the 3 males for food and kept the females for eggs… 
This was found in one and only one of the livers from one of the male ducks. I did not see evidence of this in the other two livers.
