A PREVIOUS SCAM HAS RETURNED

Please be advised that a scam is going around in which previous applicants to the Planning & Zoning Boards are receiving fake invoices on City of Franklin letterhead demanding large sums of money for “fees”. The scam is identical to the scam from earlier in the year when past applicants received official-looking correspondence from the City.

We will reach out to prior applicants from the last 12 months to notify them to be vigilant. The thing to know is this: if anyone receives an invoice from Planning & Zoning demanding thousands of dollars in unpaid fees then it is 100% a scam.

Please have anyone call us if they have questions.
