We deliver daily to Paarl & Franschhoek, however - fresh meals are on a Wednesday only!
The rest of our meals are frozen, but still homemade, with no additives, no preservatives!

Our meals contain no preservatives, thickeners or additives, they are made with high quality ingredients, created by a highly skilled chef.
We deliver in Cape Town again on Wednesday 1st March, orders are to be placed before 10:00 on Monday 27th February. We also deliver daily throughout Paarl & Franschhoek.
Take the hassle out of dinner times, especially with increased load shedding!

Launching our first frozen menu. All meals are ready for delivery from tomorrow, delivery daily (two meal minimum) throughout Franschhoek, Paarl & VdV. Simply pop us a message to order meals, or send us a WhatsApp! Credit card facilities are also available!

Thank you for all the messages of support we have received over the last few weeks. We started moving our stuff today, including our trusty bar counter! We do still have a couple of staff looking for a new job, waiters, front of house manager & sculler. Please get in touch if you can help us to help them. Kudos to our team for their hard work in the face of adversity the last few weeks. We couldn’t have done anything in the last 5 years without them!

Despite surviving the ravages of COVID and the associated business closures, lockdowns, liquor ban, and absence of overseas tourists, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce that Bovine is being forced to cease trading on the 29th January 2023, some 5 years after we first set up the business.

Unfortunately our landlord, TK Retail has chosen not to renew our lease for reasons that have still to be fully explained. We have explored every avenue to protect the jobs of our 23 local staff members who, in turn, support over 100 dependents in the Franschhoek Valley. Sadly this has not been possible.

We are now looking to help our employees secure new jobs, so please do get in touch if you have something that may be suitable.
