🪓 Dear Kick Axe Community,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of our beloved Kick Axe Throwing locations in 📍 Brooklyn and 📍 Philadelphia. After nearly eight amazing years in Brooklyn, and more than six in Philadelphia, we've decided it's time to hang up our axes and reflect on the amazing journey we've shared with all of you.
🪓 From the very beginning, we set out to create something truly special—a rustic, cabin-themed haven where friends, families, and colleagues could come together for laughter, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories.
❤️ We’ve been humbled to be featured in media outlets far and wide, but our greatest accomplishments have been the countless events we've hosted: epic birthday bashes, team-building corporate outings, romantic proposals, wild bachelor and bachelorette parties, and joyful holiday gatherings.
🪓 More than just a business, Kick Axe has felt like an integral part of the communities we called home. In Brooklyn's eclectic Gowanus neighborhood and Philadelphia's historic Old City, we've been more than a venue—we've been a gathering place that fostered connections, supported local vibes, and became a staple for nights out in walkable areas buzzing with energy. We've cherished being woven into the fabric of these cities, watching friendships form over bullseyes and cheers echo through our lodges.
❤️ To our incredible guests, staff, and partners: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You've been the heartbeat of Kick Axe—the ones who turned our ranges into arenas of joy, shared stories over drinks, and made every throw count. Your enthusiasm, loyalty, and smiles have fueled us through the years, and we're eternally grateful for the support that allowed us to thrive. While this chapter closes, the memories we've created together will last a lifetime.
If you're in Washington, DC, our 📍 sister location continues to welcome axe-throwers with open arms. For now, we bid a fond farewell to Brooklyn and Philly. Stay sharp, stay connected, and keep kicking axe in whatever adventures come next.
With deepest gratitude
