Following the closure of our pub, The George Hotel in Keswick. We were overwhelmed by the love and desire of our gigantic Pies. We therefore have moved our Cow Pie to our sister pub/restaurant, The Royal Yew, Dean. This page will include all new updates & information on our new cow pie adventures.

Today isn’t all sad news for The George!

We are delighted to announce that THE COW PIE WILL CARRY ON!!

We will be moving the Famous Cow pie to our sister pub The Royal yew at Dean (CA14 4TJ)

The royal yew has an informal, relaxed and friendly atmosphere similar to the George.
We look forward to seeing many of your friendly faces!

We are very sad to announce that our last day of trading will be Sunday 10th April, this is due to the landlord, Marston’s refusing to renew the lease.

We will be open this week from Wednesday through to Sunday, serving food from 12-2:30 and 5:30 till 8:30. Come and get your last portion of cow pie!

We would like to thank our customers, and all our staff past and present for all their support and hard work over the last 14 years. The George has become a very successful business, that we are all very proud of.

We will close on Monday, 17th January & re-open on Friday, 21st January in the afternoon.
