What will it bee? 🐝💛 When my cousin showed me her inspo for her gender reveal, I knew I had to pull out all the stops for her bee theme.

Baking for family milestones is my absolute favorite thing to do.

I always feel so incredibly grateful when I’m asked to make something special for a celebration.

I hand-painted every single tiny bee and filled them with a whipped honey buttercream to match the theme. There is just nothing quite like the honor of your bakes being front and center at a core family memory.

But honestly? The absolute best part of the day was seeing the little kids running back up to the dessert table to ask for seconds. That is exactly why I bake. ❤️

I have been working on a Vietnamese Coffee Cookie for some time now. It took so many trials and errors to get it just right. It also involved a lot of taste testing from my family, which I do not think they mind. 😆 It has transitioned from separate dough to swirl dough, to stuffing it, to adding chocolate chips.

I wanted to capture that perfect balance of robust coffee and sweet condensed milk. I think I have finally nailed it. It has a slightly crisp edge, a soft center, and it is finished with a sweet condensed milk coffee drizzle.

I am so, so excited to introduce The Vietnamese Coffee Cookie!

This year my dad's lady finger banana tree just went wild and so I decided to make banana bread with them. These bananas are known to taste like honey. There is a distinct sweetness that makes them very special.

My uncle turned 70, and his amazing daughters threw him a surprise birthday party! I was so honored to be asked to make the cake. Knowing his love for badminton and durian, I created a four-layer pandan chiffon cake with homemade durian jam, fresh whipped cream, and fresh durian. My aunt specifically asked for it to be fluffy, moist, and not too sweet, and I think I nailed it – every Asian person who tried it said, "Yum, it's not too sweet, and I can taste the durian!"

Happy Birthday, Uncle Tom, I'm grateful to have been part of this momentous party.

Also a note, I do not know how I was able to take this photo and have the birdie looks like its suspended in the air. 😆

Happy 1-Year Anniversary, YogaSix Scripps Ranch! 🧘‍♀️🎂✨

I am so honored to celebrate this milestone with my home studio! This weekend is all about community, movement, and—of course— delicious baked goods!

I’ll be popping up as a vendor for the big anniversary bash this Saturday, April 18th. The best part? Classes are FREE all weekend long! Flow through a high-energy Y6 Scuplt, Y6 Power, Yogalates and then come see me outside to refuel.
