We are excited to announce that July 1st, Canada Day, will be our opening day for the 2026 season! ✨

Thank you all for your patience and support while we balance wedding planning, finishing up work commitments, and completing university studies. It has been a busy season behind the scenes, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back, serve your favourite treats, and kick off another amazing summer with you! 🍦☀️

Update for Opening 2026 🍦✨💖

We will be closed until the end of June as we prepare for our wedding at the Sugar Barn and make some exciting improvements—including additional sheltered seating and enhanced landscaping—so you can enjoy more sunsets and beautiful landscapes with your ice cream. 💖

There’s no sweeter time to explore SDG Counties than during Maple Weekend! Visit our local sugar bushes, watch fresh maple syrup being made, sample sweet treats, and experience this delicious Canadian tradition firsthand.

Keep the good times going on Friday night with live music at Lost Villages Brewery 🎶🍺 — the perfect way to wrap up a spring day in SDG. Great beer, great tunes, and great company!

What's up this weekend in North Glengarry 🐰🌸🐣

🐰Friends of Glengarry Trails Association is hosting an Easter egg hunt on Saturday from 9am - 1pm. Begin at the Lochiel Street West trailhead. No cost to attend.

🍁The Ole Sugar Barn Ice Cream Shop is hosting their 5th Maple weekend with Beavertails Saturday and Sunday from 12-8pm. Syrup boiling operations should be well underway!
