It’s official. My book is now live. Please forgive me for the shameless promotion to you first, my friends and family.
After years of kitchens, travel, reinvention, fractured plans, remarkable friendships and more than a few grudges, Grudges & Gratitude has finally made its way into the world. A three year work with heaps of scrapped efforts.
This memoir follows a long road from Montreal to California, Hong Kong, Hanoi and eventually Brandon, Manitoba. It is about celebrated kitchens and forgettable ones, mentors and betrayals, food and family, ambition and loss—and the lifelong search for a table that feels like home.
It is meant to be candid, funny, poignant and occasionally bruising. There are also hard-won life lessons and recipes thrown in for free.
Most importantly, it is a story about learning that grudges can make us move, but gratitude is what finally grounds us.
The Kindle edition is available through Amazon and Kindle Unlimited, hardcover and the paperback is also available now.
