Open since February 2009, the German restaurant Ratinger Löwe is owned and operated by the Boutique Luxury Resort Cham Villas. The cozy open restaurant inside the resort had already been famous for its Bratwurst, Wiener Schnitzel and a selection of other German dishes since Cham Villas was established in 2004. Since the opening of Ratinger Löwe we are able to accommodate a larger number of guests

in the Ratinger Löwe than we could previously in the open restaurant inside the resort. More details about our menu can be found on the Our Food and Menu Highlights pages. As a sign of the close relationship with his hometown he came up with this name, and chose the crest of Ratingen as a logo for the restaurant. This even found the blessing of Ratingen’s mayor, who declared the founder a “Culinary ambassador of the city of Ratingen to Phan Thiet”. We are not aware of any other restaurant owner in Vietnam who has received similar honors.
