Vietnamese Sandwiches (commonly known as “banhmi”) has long been considered as one of the most popular traditional street food in Vietnam. At Uptown District, we make it our mission to bring this classic food to a new height, not just by moving banhmi from sidewalk to store front but, with our dedication to excellence, transforming this street food to a restaurant delicacy. Years ago, Vietnamese brought a new incarnation to the conventional minimal Parisian sandwiches by adding flavoring local herbs and spices to create banhmi. Today, our young and creative generation of chefs reinvented the classic banhmi by combining the best quality of baguettes with the freshest fillings to produce a variety of subtle flavors, full of contraditions yet somehow perfectly harmonized. Our everyday goal is to give our customers, local and foreigners alike, fond memories, the kind of memories that warm you from inside out and make you hungry for more .
