Bỗng có đợt được nghỉ lễ dài dẳng như một cái Tết thứ hai, cũng là lúc Sài Gòn đón những con mưa đầu mùa Hè, nắng gắt rồi cũng đến lúc thay thế bởi mưa rào lộng gió mỗi chiều đến. Chợt nhận ra rằng mùa Hè bên trong Tẩy cũng lạ, thường rằng mùa hè đến, âm nhạc sẽ ngập trong không khí ấy như Summer Salt, Lana Del Rey, Honne.. nhưng chỉ vì những cơn mưa mà nhạc CAS hay genre như Jazz được bật nhiều hơn, ngồi bên trong ngắm từng đợt gió nổi, lách tách trên mặt đường là từng mảng màu của nước mưa thấm xuống đậm đặc cả sân nhà.

Có thể lúc này nói về mưa có hơi.. sớm, nhưng cứ thời điểm này của năm, cảm giác có gì đó dần thay đổi cũng hiện hữu rõ qua ô cửa của Tẩy.

Out of nowhere, the city slips into a long holiday, almost like a second Tết, and with it, Saigon welcomes the first rains of summer. The sharp, lingering heat slowly gives way to breezy afternoon showers, the kind that arrive unannounced and stay just long enough to change the mood of everything.

Inside Tẩy, summer feels a little different. Usually, this time of year would be filled with the sounds of Summer Salt, Lana Del Rey, or Honne drifting through the air. But somehow, the rain shifts things, CAS and soft strands of jazz start taking over instead. You sit inside, watching the wind rise in gentle waves, listening to the soft crackle of rain touching the pavement, as the courtyard slowly deepens into darker shades with each passing shower.

It might feel a little early to talk about the rain, but around this time every year, you can sense it, something quietly beginning to change, just beyond the window at Tẩy.

Đôi khi chụp vài tấm hình xong, chọn đăng thì bỗng nhận ra mình không cần viết quá nhiều, mà từng khung hình ở Tẩy cũng đủ thể hiện những mảnh chuyện nhỏ rồi.

Cám ơn bạn đã ghé Tẩy và để tụi mình lưu giữ lại những khoảng khắc đáng nhớ này nhen.

Sometimes after taking a few photos and getting ready to post them, we realize we don’t really need to say much, each frame at Tẩy already holds its own little story.

Một góc tụi mình rất thích trong quán là chiếc bảng ước mơ ngay lối lên cầu thang. Nhiều bạn đã nán lại một chút, viết vài dòng điều ước rồi ghim lên đó. Có thể với các bạn chỉ là một suy nghĩ vu vơ trên mảnh giấy nhỏ thôi, nhưng với Tẩy thì đó là một khoảnh khắc rất đáng nhớ. Mỗi tờ note giống như một ‘dấu mộc’ nhỏ rằng các bạn đã từng ở đây, và những điều ước ấy cứ thế được giữ lại, lớn dần theo thời gian.

One of our favorite little corners is the dream board right by the stairs. A lot of you have taken a moment to write down a wish and pin it up there. Maybe for you it’s just a random thought on a small piece of paper, but for us at Tẩy, it’s a really memorable moment. Each note feels like a tiny stamp saying you were here, quietly holding and growing those wishes over time.
