⚡ How to Make an Espresso Martini
Profile: Bold, sharp, silky foam, coffee-driven.
Ingredients
1.5 oz (45 ml) Vodka
0.75 oz (22.5 ml) Coffee Liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa)
1 oz (30 ml) Freshly brewed espresso (slightly cooled)
0.25 oz (7.5 ml) Simple Syrup (optional, adjust based on espresso bitterness)
3 Coffee Beans for garnish
Instructions
Chill the Glass: Fill a coupe or martini glass with ice to chill while you prepare the drink.
Combine: Add vodka, coffee liqueur, fresh espresso, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.
Shake Hard: Fill the shaker with plenty of solid ice. Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds. High intensity is essential to build the signature creamy foam top.
Strain: Dump the ice from your chilled glass and double-strain the cocktail into the glass using a Hawthorne strainer and fine mesh strainer.
Garnish: Gently place 3 coffee beans in a triangle pattern on top of the foam.

1 oz (30 ml) Coffee Liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa)
1 oz (30 ml) Heavy Cream (or Half-and-Half)
Large Ice Cube(s)
Instructions
Prepare Glass: Place one large clear ice cube (or fill with fresh ice) into a Rocks / Lowball glass.
Build Base: Pour the vodka and coffee liqueur directly over the ice. Stir gently to combine and chill the base.
Layer the Cream: Slowly pour the heavy cream over the back of a bar spoon onto the drink so it floats and creates a cascading, swirling effect.
Serve: Serve unstirred with a straw or swizzle stick, allowing the guest to enjoy the visual contrast before mixing.
