Today is Bailey’s last day at the Barn Door before she heads out on an exciting cross country adventure! I’ve done a long road trip myself, and I can tell you it’s one of the best ways to recharge, reset, and come back with fresh perspective.

I’m genuinely happy for her and can’t wait to see what this journey brings. Something tells me The Barn Door’s next chapter will be even brighter… especially with a new mayor who’s a little more small business friendly 😉

This is a post that I have not been looking forward to making but here we go, As many of you know The Barn Door has been caught in the middle of a land use dispute and has to vacate our spot by June 30th. It has been very stressful and disappointing to have to go through this but I believe that whatever comes out of it will be for the best. My plan is to close down on June 20th and take the summer off and do some traveling.  While I’m gone my dad will pursue some different leads on places we can set up and hopefully reopen in the fall before school starts. The last almost 2 years have been amazing serving you all and getting to know so many of you as friends. Our small community is such a blessing and I hope that I am able to continue serving you all in the future. Thank you all for your support and please stop by before we close for the summer.
