Friends,
Our last day serving you coffee will be Wednesday April 30. We are grateful for the 15 years we’ve been able to caffeinate Zeeland and the surrounding community. Over the next couple of weeks as we say goodbye; we reflect on a little history.
Back in 2009, we were the only specialty coffee shop in Zeeland. We have been able to give so many employees a job in the last 15 years; some of them grew immensely here, some of them made us grow, some of them feel like family.
We’ve tried new drink recipes and new baked goods, some of them turned into favorites and some of them should’ve stayed in our imaginations. Thank you for always sharing your brutally honest opinions about them 😊. We can’t even count the cups of hot chocolate (literally thousands) and coffee we made during parades or the smoothies we blended to cool you off in the Summer. We still don’t understand anyone who drinks an iced latte when it is 5 degrees outside, but that’s your choice. Our first cash register was old school and our most recent point of sale system allowed us to take ONLINE orders!
You held business meetings here, you met old friends and new friends for coffee dates, you worked remotely, you knitted, you held bible studies, you played board games, and you even traversed bridges to come get your coffee (we’re looking at you 2023 construction).
We have laughed together and cried together.
We will truly miss serving you coffee.
