YOU ALL ASKED… BEAN & CHEESE BURRITOS ARE BACK!

Sorry we took so long! And thank you all for truly always showing so much love to our food.
Bean & cheese burritos have always been one of my favorites, and they bring back some of the best memories of my life.

When I was a kid, my mom would take bean & cheese burritos in her thermos  when she went to work. Sometimes she’d bring a couple back home, and I’d get what we used to call a “burrito paseado” and somehow, those always tasted the best.
Then growing up with my good friends, the Gutierrez family, and eating their amazing bean & cheese burritos… man, those are memories I’ll never forget.
It’s funny how something as simple as a bean & cheese burrito can take you right back to being a kid.
So this one means a little more to me.

A dream I’ve had since I was 17 years old.
When I was 17, I remember telling my dad what I could see our little place becoming someday. I had this picture in my head of MexiBurger on the corner, MexiCafe next door, and a place big enough for everyone to come together.

My dad looked at me and said, “You’re dreaming a little too big, mijo…but if you work hard enough, it can happen.”
I never forgot that.
All these years later, that dream is still in my head. But now, because of all of YOU and the love and support you’ve shown our family and MexiBurger, it doesn’t feel quite as impossible anymore.
Maybe it won’t happen tomorrow. Maybe it’ll take a couple more years. But I believe I can make it happen.

I just have to keep working, keep believing, and never forget that 17-year-old kid who could already see it.
Same corner. Same roots. Bigger dream.
