For the past 26+ years, Maria has been more than a server at El Charro Café… she has been family.

Many of you have been asking about her over the past few weeks and asking what you could do to help. With Maria’s blessing, we wanted to share that she has been away caring for her husband while they temporarily reside in Phoenix for his medical treatment and recovery.

On Thursday, June 4th, we will be hosting a special “Day for Maria” Takeover Fundraiser. A portion of the entire day’s sales will go directly to Maria & Cesar Ruan to help with travel and lodging expenses during this difficult time.

If Maria has ever made you smile, remembered your order, or made El Charro feel like home, we invite you to stop by and show your support. ❤️
