We are celebrating our last picnic day tomorrow and hope all our Croatian Club/lodge supports will come out for one big event. There may be a chance somewhere down the road we can continue our once a month picnics. The fun begins at 2 and lasts til 6. So come with your hugs and kisses and help us celebrate 16 years of reviving our lodge. It is bittersweet for me as president but God always has a plan. We will wait patiently to see.

Also on Friday, June 1, lodge members and social members ease join us from 6 - ? To enjoy our reduced beverages and what food supply we have left us you can bring an appetizer, covered dish or dessert to share with all.

I hope to see you at one or both for our farewells.

Next week will be our last indoor picnic with planning on closing our club on June 1. It is bittersweet but lack of weekly business, volunteer help and many needed repairs has forced our hands to close.

So please come and enjoy the Vesili orchestra with the most sweetest Croatian voice of Rose Husnick, her beloved husband Fred and son Mark, accompanied by Frank Bozicevic, Paul and Kruno. If you want roasted lamb by Mike Mezick I need orders today. Call 724-872-7495 asap! Our kitchen is open, along w a bake sale and plenty of cool refreshing refreshments at our bar. Help us close with wonderful memories to treasure our ethnic Croatian culture. I and all those who brought us back to life in 2002 wish to thank all of you that attended our indoor picnics or any function which we held. You are the best!😘

If there is a miracle out there or 20 volunteers wanting to keep Yukon alive please let me know. If not, join us next Sunday for a closing party!

As some of you know we will be closing our club on Friday, June 1 and we want to end with a celebration from 6 til ??. There we be reduced bar drinks and appetizers. If you like you can bring an appetizer, covered dish or dessert to compliment our foods. All social members and lodge members are invited and if you are not either of the above and are a friend of one of the above you must have them sign you in as a guest.

We have 2 picnics left; one this Sunday, April 29 from 2-6 pm with Joey Misher and Stari Prajeli playing and on Sunday, May 20 with Vesili from Farrel closing out our last picnic.

We will remain open on Taco Tuesday through the 22 of May and bar open on Fridays from 7 til ? We made a decision to close on Thursday and Saturday due to lack of business. We will be closed on Friday, May 25 for Memorial weekend.

I would like to thank my past and present officers, past and present bartenders, stewards, staff and all our wonderful volunteers who molded our lodge/club for the past 16 years. I am sure we made a mark in Croatian history. To all the younger generations we need you to carry on. Please keep your heritage close to your heart. Closing the club is a bittersweet emotion to us so come and share some time with us on any of the above days and create a few more wonderful memories!

We are selling our bar license. If any fraternal club is looking for one we have it! Send a post and we will put you in contact with the realtor. Same with our building.

Our first indoor picnic will be next Sunday, March 18, at 2 to 6 pm. The band Radost will be your entertainment and promise you a super afternoon. The kitchen is open with all the ethnic Croatian foods and plenty of desserts. Our bar is open for your favorite drinks. So come one, come all for a wonderful time at the Yukon Croatian club at 109 Union St. In Yukon. See you there!

Our Croatian Club/lodge is having a Christmas Vendor/Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 - 3. Table are $10 each to display your products. Doors open at 8:30 for setup. Call Michaelene @ 724-872-7495 for reserved tables.

We also need customers to purchase your Christmas gifts early. Doors open at 10. Our kitchen will be open, along with a bake sale. We will have an auction with items donated by our crafter and vendors. So mark your calendar for Nov. 4 from10-3. We are located at 109 Union Street, Yukon, PA 15698
