📣✨ ‘TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE COMP… ✨📣

‘Twas the night before Qualifiers, and all through Yreka,
Not a cheer coach was resting… because obviously. 😂

The mats have been moved, the gym is all set,
The warm-up space is ready, but we’re not done yet.

The chairs are in place, the snack bars are stocked,
Food is being prepped, and tomorrow we ROCK. 🍔🌭📣

Today our cheer coaches, board members, and amazing cheer parents SHOWED UP and turned Yreka High School into a competition venue. Mats, chairs, warm-up areas, snack bars, food prep, and about 47,000 little details later… somehow, WE ARE READY. ❤️💛

Tomorrow, teams from across the North will walk through our doors, and after months of planning, organizing, group messages, lists, revised lists, and “whose idea was it for us to host again?” 😂… IT’S FINALLY HERE!

And our girls get something extra special: the chance to step onto their HOME mat and show everyone what they’ve worked so hard for. 🥹📣

❤️ 8U takes the floor at 10:52 AM
💛 14U XXL takes the floor at 4:57 PM

Tonight, get some sleep, pack the bows, double-check the uniforms, set six alarms…

And FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY, PLEASE REMEMBER:

🚨 NO. GLITTER. 🚨
Not in the hair.
Not on the face.
Not on the body.
Not “just a little.”
Not “but it’s cheer glitter.”
NO GLITTER. 😂

Please do not make your President start checking children for contraband sparkle at the door. 🤣✨🚫

Tomorrow, we make memories.

YREKA, IT’S OUR TURN TO HOST! ❤️💛🖤⛏️📣

Good luck to ALL of our S*F cheerleaders, and to our Jr. Miners girls…

HIT. THAT. MAT. 🔥

Want to help support local elementary school sports? Or maybe just want a chance to win that Traeger Grill?

If you know us at Gonzo's, we do our best to support local area youth sports organizations. Afterall, we grew up playing in them.

Help Support Montague Elementary School and their Sports Foundation. Come down to Gonzo's Breakfast House and get your tickets right away. The Drawing is on Saturday.
Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Don't wait. 😁

Need some entertainment to get your weekend started?

🏐🏐🏐

The High School Fall sport season has begun. Go support our Volleyball friends at Yreka Union High School. When you need a break, come see us down the road at Gonzo's Breakfast House for a killer meal. The bacon is sizzling as we speak. If you want my recommendation, try the 2-Egg Corned Beef and Hash. The corned beef is NOT canned and I shredded it myself. YUM! 😋

See you there! 😉

Looking for something to do this weekend? 👀

🐴Look no further than the Jefferson State Stampede in Montague.

Like any weekend, stop by Gonzo's to start or end your weekend with some great company and fantastic food. Choose from local favorites like the Carne Asada Skirt Steak Skillet. The skirt steak is so tender and you will definitely leave with leftovers for later. Need something "on-the-go"? Get any one of the filling Breakfast Burritos. I like the Meat-Lovers or the Chorizo Burrito.

Where ever your weekend takes you, we hope to see your smiling faces at Gonzo's. 😉
