It’s back….by popular demand, with some encouragement from family and friends, the Grandma’s House Restaurant Cookbook has been resurrected. Complete with all the same recipes as before, along with an update to the dedication page and family history from my Mom…it’s back in stock and ready for distribution.
This new 2nd edition also includes a page devoted to advertising an UPCOMING all NEW Cookbook for Miner St. Meat Market and Black Bart’s Grill. We hope to complete this new cookbook in time for the Christmas Season 2025 so keep your eyes open for that.
The Grandma’s House updated Cookbook is available for $20. With sales tax and shipping we are out the door for $25. We did a limited printing order to gauge the interest from people who LOVED

THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

It's been a wonderful 39 yrs. but sadly it's time for us to say goodbye! Thanks to our amazing customers, who have now become friends, we have had the honor to serve as the second oldest 'original owner' restaurant in Yreka! We have been blessed with a most incredible staff over all these many years. Their loyalty and dedication has gone beyond the call of duty and they are 'our second family'. "Grandma's House" did start with a real "Grandma Doyne". Over the years most all of her offspring were eventually included in the operation of "Grandma's House" including son-in-law Tom, both grandchildren (Kenny and Shelli) and 3 of her 5 great grandchildren (Brad-Chelsea-Jade) 2 nephews (Sonny and Jimmy).
Tom, and Ken have remained actively involved to the current time.
We will miss you all immensely but as they say....""All good things must come to an end, and sadly our time has come! We've been blessed with the best. Best staff ever....best customers ever....best of everything for which we are eternally grateful.

Effective Monday 10/12/15 Grandma's House will operate under Winter hours. We will be open from 7am-2pm daily until further notice. Large groups may schedule in advance to use the dining room for parties with advance notice by calling 842-5300. Thank you for your continued support.

Another year in the books. 2015 Grandma's House Scholarship winners are (guys) Brendan Berry and Casey Hoff and the ladies were both GH employees Adrianna Leyva and Jade Permenter. Congrats to you all. It was great being part of the Rotary and USI Top 100 Awards night once again. Thanks to all the employees who sacrificed to make this award possible.

Congratulations to the 2013 winners of the Grandmas House Scholarship from the graduating class at Yreka High School. Jenna Whitney was the girl winner and the boys was split between Tyler Johnson and Cassidy Moran.

This was our 21st annual award....very proud to be the longest running private business scholarship at the awards.
