Dear Friends,

It is with deep sadness that we write this message. After weeks of careful consideration, we have decided to take a step back from sugarbeet bakery. We have been struggling financially due to the ongoing pandemic, as so many people are. Please know that we did not make this decision lightly, but believe it to be the best decision as of this time. Our last day baking will be October 31.

It has been our absolute pleasure to bake for you the last two years, and we will miss it so much. Thank you all for all of the support and love you have given us. And who knows what the future will hold, maybe this isn’t so much a goodbye but a “see you later” ❤

Flakey handmade pastry crust, housemade blueberry and peach jam made with fruit from Karpo Farms, and alot of love went into these sweet pies.

We've got something for our gluten free friends today! 12 GF Blueberry Basil Donuts are available for purchase 🤩
Big, juicy berries from Karpo Farms are folded into our fluffy gf vanilla donut. These are topped with a sweet and herbal basil glaze and a drizzle of blueberry glaze. These babies are naturally colored and so beautiful!

One dozen Bourbon Peach donuts are up for grabs today, friends! These are full of juicy peaches, bourbon, and some spicy notes from cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.

Surprise 🎉 We've got 12 Blueberry Glazed Lime Cornmeal Donuts available for you today! The bright, beautiful Michigan blueberry glaze is draped over a lime donut with a little cornmeal crunch, resulting in one of our favorite flavor combinations. We got our berries from Karpo Farms and just could not resist making these!

Today we celebrate our 7 year anniversary and I have to share this amazing cake my good friend at made us! Her and her husband actually catered our wedding so it was perfect to get an anniversary cake from her! We celebrated a little early and brought the cake with us up north. I asked for a drawing of the tower since our wedding cake was the tower and she exceeded my expectations! You may notice there is no drink in this photo and that’s because the cake is the drink, bourbon in the cake and the icing!
