Hey you guys! It’s been a minute. I hope you all have been staying warm and safe in this treacherous weather. ☃️❄️

As you all know, I am the owner of Kenzie’s Kusina with all the Filipino goodness. I have been underway making lots of progress on proper licensing and menu upgrades for the items we all know and love.

I have been experimenting with different Filipino flavors especially on the sweet side. I have created something exciting for you all to try….. I now have UBE COOKIES!

Ube is a purple yam commonly used in Filipino cuisine for various sweet dishes and desserts due to its vibrant color and sweet flavor. Ube's flavor has been described as earthy, sweet, and nutty; a breath of vanilla with a wisp of soft pistachio.

Under the cottage food law, I can now offer ube crinkle cookies which are a Filipino twist on the classic American crinkle cookie. It consists of ube jam and is rolled in powdered sugar to give the crinkle effect. I also am offering brown butter ube white chocolate chip cookies.

These are definitely not something you can find in your local supermarket. So if you wanna try something different and fresh baked…
